Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BozzApp (the "Service"), a field-service management platform provided via web browser and the BozzApp Android/iOS app. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

BozzApp helps field-service businesses manage clients, job cards, quotes, invoices, team members and related records. BozzApp is a record-keeping and management tool — it does not process, hold, or transmit payments between you and your clients. Any payment a client makes to you (cash, EFT, PayShap, card via Yoco, or otherwise) happens directly between you and your client, entirely outside the Service; BozzApp only lets you record that a payment occurred.

2. Accounts and Team Members

The person who creates a BozzApp account ("Account Owner") may invite team members (Manager, Job Card User, Finance User, Field Worker) to access the account under their own login. The Account Owner is responsible for the conduct of any team member they invite, and for keeping their own login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

BozzApp offers Free, Base and Premium plans, priced by monthly job-card volume, billed either monthly or annually (with a discount for annual billing). Paid plans are processed via PayFast. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. If a renewal payment is not received by the due date, the account may be restricted from creating new records until payment is made; existing data is never deleted or hidden as a result of a lapsed payment. Prices may change with reasonable notice.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all client, job, quote and invoice data you enter into the Service. BozzApp acts as your data processor for the purposes of South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) — you are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold your clients' personal information, and BozzApp will take reasonable technical measures to keep it secure. If you delete a client record, associated job cards, quotes, invoices and any attached files are permanently deleted from BozzApp's systems as part of that action; archiving a record does not delete anything and can be reversed.

5. Acceptable Use

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties including Firebase (hosting, authentication, database, file storage), PayFast (subscription billing), and EskomSePush (load shedding information, provided "as is" and for informational purposes only — schedules can change with little notice and BozzApp does not guarantee their accuracy). Your use of those third parties' own services is subject to their respective terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, BozzApp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between you and your clients, or losses arising from a third-party payment method, service outage, or inaccurate load shedding information.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. BozzApp may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or engage in unlawful conduct.

9. Changes to These Terms

BozzApp may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
